The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering in collaboration with the Office for Research, Consultancy, Commercialisation & Innovation, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organized the Kompos 2016 programme from 14 to 18January 2016 at Kg. Parit Kuari Darat and Parit Raja Snack Industry, Batu Pahat. The programme which involved 4 UTHM staff and 30 local community members aimed to spread the message on river cleanup and beautification. Gotong-royong and campaign brochure distribution were conducted during the programme.UTHM provided transportation and equipmentfor the programme.A sum of RM2,055.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind andcash, was RM 3,079.00.
