Exploration of FSTPi Students To Sabah have been held for a week on 30th March until 6 April 2017. 24 students and 6 staffs have been joined the program. The places visited were SMK Beaufort, Kota Kinabalu dan Gunung Kinabalu. The knowledge transfer program focus on exposure to the students about the management system of biodiversity and natural resources that are found in Sabah. Students will look in terms of terrestrial and marine management, site- world heritage sites such as Kinabalu Mount and the Crocker Range, as well as tourism management-based organisms and natural ecology.
In addition to the management of biodiversity, activities such as community service and interaction with government agencies will be able to contribute to community development and knowledge transfer to the local community. Activities focused on transferring knowledge, promote biodiversity and conservation UTHM programs and make cooperation with agencies that manage biodiversity in Sabah. In addition, the program also provides training to students with a bachelor degree program with honors Biodiversity and Conservation at FSTPi in organizing activities on campus to apply the knowledge they have learned.
