“Environment Our Responsibility” program was held on 16th April 2017 at UTHM Caliph Junior Nurseries. 30 students from Centre of Diploma Studies, 60 students from Caliph Junior Nurseries and 3 lecturers have been joined the program. The program was held for 6 hours, starting at 10.00 a.m until 5.00 p.m.

The activities that have been held during the program are ice breaking, briefing and game about 3R, making a basket by using a used bottles and plastics, making a cartoon by using egg boxes, making a car by using a straws and making a sheep by using cotton.

The aim of the program is to expose the students with the knowledge, expertise, value and commitment to protect the environment in the early stages of a child’s education. Besides that, the aim of the program is also to improve the skills of students from UTHM diploma program in management and implementation of a program with the communities. The cost for the program is R3oo.
