The Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), in collaboration with the Community Service course students organized the Semarak Bakti Siswa programme on 7 May 2016 at Kg. Bukit Batu, Senggarang, BatuPahat. The programme involved 19 UTHM students and staff as well as 50 members of the local community. It aimed to expose students on how to organize a  programme. Among the activities conducted were the opening ceremony, assigning students to host families and gotong-royong.  A sum of RM180.00 was allocated for the programme. The total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM1,607.12
