The Faculty of Science, Technology & Human Development and Centre for Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with Malaysian Consumer and Family Economics Association (MACFEA), organised the ‘Cost of Living and Consumer Lifestyle Seminar’ on 25 April 2015 at UTHM Sultan Iskandar Hall. The seminar involved 35 UTHM students and staff, as well as 80 local community members from Taman Cendana, Pasir Gudang. The objective of the programme was to create consumer lifestyle awareness to enhance saving and spending skills. UTHM provided transportation for the programme. A sum of RM11, 500.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM15,636.80
