The Islamic Centre, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘Mosque and Surau Relations Programme’ on 25 April 2015 at the Fathul ‘Ulum Mosque, Parit Samijan. This programme involved 300 UTHM students and staff, as well as Parit Samijan residents. It aimed to develop UTHM students to become pious, knowledgable and visionary peer counselors. Among the activities conducted were ‘gotong-royong’, adzan competition and ‘Love our Prophet’ Forum. UTHM provided transportation for the programme. A sum of RM2,450.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM17,194.00
