BATU PAHAT– The Research Centre for Soft Soil (RECESS), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) hosted an Aidilfitri open house held at the grounds of the centre on June 13^th 2019 to add colours to the celebration this year.

Head of RECESS, Ts. Dr. Nor Azizi Yusoff  in his speech said that the event was intended to strengthen the bond between committee and university staff in addition to strengthen the cooperation between RECESS UTHM and local committees.

“Thank you to all who are present here today, including our RECESS associates from other countries like Taipei and Japan,” he said.

Research Exhibition from UTHM researchers were also presented during the event aside from exceptional Eid cuisine served to staffs and guests.

Honoured guests who attended the event were Datuk Dr. Shahruddin Md Salleh (Deputy Minister of Federal Territories of Malaysia) and the current Member of Parliament for Sri Gading; Ir. Haji Abdullah Isnin, the Director General for Department of Irrigation and Drainage of Ministry of Water, Land and Nature Resources and UTHM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ts. Dr. Wahid Razzaly

They also spent some time at the exhibition grounds and greeted the researchers.
