Mangrove Conservation Awareness Week

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Human Development, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Mangrove Conservation Awareness Week in Conjunction with Raja Zarith Sofiah Wildlife Defenders Challenge programme on 28 April 2016 at Sungai Suloh Primary School, Batu Pahat. The programme involved 4 UTHM students and 2 staff as well as 50 members of the local community. It aimed to raise the participants’ awareness on the importance of conserving mangrove forest. A sum of RM… was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM134.88
