BATU PAHAT– The Deputy Vice-Chancellor’s Office of Students’ Affairs and Alumni (HEPA), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised a program called Setulus Kasih TNC HEPA Pasti Skor at Dewan Sultan Ibrahim UTHM starting from June 16th to help uplift students’ motivation during the examination.
The program, which was held in both the main campus and Pagoh campus, was an initiative by HEPA UTHM to lend a helping hand to students during examination week by distributing complimentary snacks and drinks apart from inspiring motivational quotes and words to uplift students’ motivation.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (HEPA) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afandi Ahmad said that this was one of the ways for the university’s executive committee and management to approach students as they came to sit for their exams.
“This gesture is nothing compared to watching their smiles before sitting for the examination, it’s enough to make us happy and contented,” he said.
This is in line with the commitment of Charity Campus’s (KAMIUTHM) which is to inculcate merriment, compassion and mutual respect among the UTHM community.
The distribution was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Afandi and assisted by HEPA officers.
Also present was Vice-Chancellor of UTHM, Professor Ts. Dr. Wahid Razzaly who met with some of the students.
