Knowledge Exchange with IIUM World Debate and Oratory Centre

The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Knowledge Exchange with IIUM World Debate and Oratory Centre on 10 December 2016 at International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), Gombak. The programme involved 32 UTHM students and staff and 30 IIUM students. The aim of the programme was to provide the students with knowledge on organising a debate competition and establish cooperation among students and debaters at local higher learning institutions. It also aimed to inculcate the spirit of cooperation among the students in organising a programme. There were debate workshop and debate competition simulation. UTHM provided transportation. A sum of RM310.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost,in-kind and cash, was RM4,279.36
