Free Sparring Taekwondo Programme

The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Free Sparring Taekwondo Programme in conjunction with the FIESCOM 2016 from 9 to 10 December 2016 at Dataran Terbuka, UTHM. The programme involved 33 UTHM students and staff as well as 15 taekwondo athletes from Batu Pahat Sunshine Martial Art Academy. It aimed to expose participants to free sparring taekwondo and create the spirit of cooperation between them and the taekwondo athletes. The participants were introduced to taekwondo rules and regulations. Taekwondo sports equipment was used in the programme. A sum of RM720.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM3,003.68
