The University and Industry Relations Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organized seminar on Autism (for the southern region) on 19 November 2016 at Senggarang Health Clinic, Batu Pahat. The programme involved 19 UTHM students, staff and 18 local community members. The programme aimed to provide exposure and training to the parents, special education teachers, health service team, managers of intervention centre and university staff and students as well as the general public, on the proper ways to care and nurture for autistic children. A sum of RM 10,000.00 was allocated for this programme and the total cost, in- kind and cash, was RM 11,427.12
