The Centre for Diploma Studies, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with Sri Medan UMNO division organised a‘Knowledge Transfer Programme – Water Filters for Low Cost Houses’ on 12 December 2015 in Sri Medan, Batu Pahat. The programme involved 5 UTHM students and staff, as well as 30 people from the local community. It aimed to educate the community on the installation and maintenance of water filters for low cost houses. UTHM provided transportation and facilities for the programme. The total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM1,372.40
