The Centre for Diploma Studies, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with Zarraz Beauty Centre and Sri Petaling School, Petaling Jaya organised a community service programme for the Rohingya Children on 10 December2015 at the National Zoo, Kuala Lumpur. The programme involved 32 UTHM students and staff, as well as 130 Rohingya children. The programme aimed to expose the students to the hardships and challenges of refugees as well as foster unity among the different races. UTHM provided transportation for the programme. The total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM13,020.00
