The Student Housing & Transportation Centre and Tun Fatimah Residential College (KKTF), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), in collaboration with Ayer Hitam and Batu Pahat fire stations; Batu Pahat and Kluang Hospitals; the Islamic Centre and Sri Gading Puteri UMNO division organised the ‘Soft Skills Programme’ from 23 to 25 April 2015 (Phase 1) and 7 to 9 May 2015 (Phase 2) at several venues in UTHM including Tun Fatimah and Tun Dr Ismail Residential Colleges. This programme involved 500 UTHM students and staff, as well as 300 members of the local community. It aimed to equip undergraduates with skills to handle community activities and evaluate leadership qualities as well as effective communication among KKTF first year students. A sum of RM 8000 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash was RM 76,240.00
