The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘Tube Well’ programme on 12 and 13 April 2015 at the Gua Musang district mosque. The programme involved 8 UTHM students and staff, as well as 30 local community members. The aim of the programme was to facilitate the provision of water from underground sources to schools that were affected by flood. UTHM provided transportation and other facilities such as ground drills, earth structure sensors and some hand tools for the programme. A sum of RM,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM1,419.68
