The Islamic Centre, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘Excellent Student Motivation Programme’ from 5 to 7 March 2015 and from 2 to 4 April 2015 at the Al-Farabi Seminar Room, UTHM Sultan Ibrahim Mosque. The programme involved 35 UTHM students and staff, as well as 140 participants from Seri Sempurna Primary School, Rengit, Seri Kencana Primary School, Simpang Renggam dan Parit Bingan Secondary School, Parit Raja. It aimed to strengthen students’ spiritual and physical capabilities in surviving challenges at all levels of education. Among the activities conducted were qiamullail, religious talks, group activities and smart explorations. UTHM provided transportation for the programme. A sum of RM1,690.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM7,450.40
