The Faculty of Electric and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) repaired the electrical wiring of the Al-Khariah Surau (musolla) in Taman Berlian Biru, Kluang on 20 June 2017. The wiring was repaired by two UTHM staff who were experts in electrical wiring. About 10 broken ceiling lamps were repaired and replaced, and all the electrical sockets and fans were checked and repaired. The work was completed in one day with the help of the local community. The aim of this programme was to examine and repair the wiring system of the surau (musolla). UTHM provided transportation and wiring equipment. A sum of RM500.00 was allocated for this programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM744.96
