The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the FKAAS Construction Brigade organised the Village Exploration 2016 programme from 8 to 10 December 2016 at Kampung Haji Ghaffar, Yong Peng, Johor. The programme involved 65 UTHM students and staff as well as 80 members of the local community. It provided opportunities for UTHM students and staff to transfer their knowledge and skills to the local community. Activities conducted were gotong royong to clean mosques and cemeteries, cultural night and traditional games. A sum of RM12,791.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM 16,713.40.
