The Centre for General Studies and Co-Curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organized the ‘UTHM CARE 4.0’ programme from 2 to 3 December 2016 at BekohPrimary School and Tanah Gembur Orang Asli Settlement, Muar. The programme involved 32 UTHM students and staff, as well as the primary school pupils. The programme aimed to motivate the Orang Asli children in the aspects of learning strategies as well as cultivating teamwork. Various activities were conducted during the programme; English, Mathematics and Science coaching classes, motivational talk, fire-safety talk, traditional games, cultural night, nature exploration, health check-up and safety inspection. The total cost of the programme was RM10,458.72.
