The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Rugby Clinic from 2 and 3 December 2016 at UTHM rugby field. The programme which was carried out by 40 UTHM students and staff, involved 30 students from schools around Batu Pahat. The aim of the programme was to expose students to the rules and aspects assessed by referees in rugby and provide basic knowledge of the sport. Activities such as teaching the techniques and methods of rugby were carried out as well. UTHM provided transportation and sports equipment. A sum of RM 860.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost,in-kind and cash, was RM3,158.40
