The Faculty Of Science, Technology and Human Development, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Herbal: Usage and Conservation Programme on 9 December 2016 at Kampung Parit Jelutong Community Hall, Parit Raja. The programme involved 25 UTHM students and staff as well as 34 members of the community. It aimed to demonstrate to the participants the right method of herbs planting and promote herbs gardening at every house and homestay in Parit Jelutong. Activities such as herbs trees planting methods and commercialisation were conducted. A sum of RM1,966.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM2,788.00
