The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised an exhibition cum education-based intervention programme called Drug Free Malaysia on 3 December 2016 at UTHM Tunku Mahkota Ismail Hall. It involved 500 participants from the public as well as 12 UTHM students and 4 staff acting as advisors. The programme aimed at creating awareness among the public on the misuse of drugs as well as educating them to practice healthy lifestyles. UTHM provided facilities for the programme. A sum of RM24,230.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM28,589.68
