The University and Industry Relations Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘Biodiversity Awareness’ programme from 16 to 17 December 2016 at Kg. Parit Jelutong, Parit Raja. This programme involved 22 UTHM students and staff, as well as 27 community members. The main aim of the programme was to educate the local community, especially the younger generation, on the importance of biodiversity conservation. UTHM provided transportation and facilities for this programme. A sum of RM 1,720.00 was allocated and the total cost, in- kind and cash, was RM 2,709.12
