The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the Islamic Centre UTHM organised the University Students Community Programme from 17-19 November 2016 at Dato Ibrahim Majid Secondary School, Simpang Renggam, Johor. The programme involved 52 UTHM students and staff, and 60 participants from of the school. The aim of the programme was to improve cooperation between UTHM and the school. It also aimed to inculcate the spirit of cooperation among the students in organising a programme. The activities conducted were introduction to SISKOR and Prison Department, video show, 5 Stations exhibition, ‘prison design’, inmates’ rehabilitation strategy and explorace. UTHM provided transportation and band equipment. A sum of RM 500.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM5,637.92
