The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Train to Recycle Programme from 18-19 November 2016 at Dato Onn Secondary School, Batu Pahat, Johor. The programme which was carried out by 33 UTHM students and staff, involved 50 school students. The aim of the programme was to inculcate the culture of recycling among UTHM and school students in order to create awareness and humanistic skills. It also aimed to inculcate the spirit of cooperation among the students in organising a programme. UTHM provided transportation and band equipment. A sum of RM2,700.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost,in-kind and cash, was RM6,683.68
