The Centre for General Studies and Co-curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Law Education Seminar for the Sixth Formers from 14 to 15 October 2016 at Temenggong Ibrahim Girls School, Batu Pahat, Johor. The programme which was carried out by 30 UTHM staff and students, involved 60 participants. The aims of the programme were to enhance the participants’ knowledge and expose them to the laws in Malaysia, as well as instill their awareness on social responsibility. The programme was also aimed at inculcating ethics values among the participants so they can help prevent their peers from being involved in crimes. UTHM provided transportation and other necessary materials for the programme. A sum of RM300.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash was RM2,998.80
