The Bursary Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the Kluang district Islamic Council organized the ‘Qaseh Ramadhan for the Underprivileged Children in Kluang District 2016 programme’ at Mydin Ayer Keroh, Malacca. A total of 80 recipients were given new clothes in conjunction with Eid al-Fitri. This programme was carried out to instill values of caring and sharing among the staff at the Bursary office. It also served as a platform to instill the spirit of caring and helping the poor and the needy. UTHM provided transportation and facilities for the programme. A sum of RM14,200.00 was allocatedand the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM15,717.04.
