The Centre for General Studies and Co-Curricular, University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the Darul Ta’zim Family Foundation organised the Sakinah D’IPTA programme on 25 May 2016 at UTHM Tunku Mahkota Ismail Hall. The programme involved 30 UTHM students and staff with 150 local communities. The purpose of the programme was to help youths at Higher Learning Institutions understand the Sakinah Family Module through demonstrations, reviews and presentations. Effective delivery techniques were also taught to prepare youths for married life. Activities included a talk, calligraphy mural colouring contest and demonstration of a Sakinah solemnization ceremony. UTHM provided venue and PA system for the programme. A sum of RM290.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM4,674.40
