The Centre for Diploma Studies, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised ‘Liter of Light’ (a community service programme) from 12 to 15 May 2016 in Kampung Sinaron, Keningau Sabah. The programme involving 22 students and staff was aimed at exposing the students to community service based on science and innovation and fostering national integration through immersion activities with Sabah ethnic minorities. The activities conducted also enhanced the students’ soft skills. UTHM provided transportation and facilitiesfor this programme. A sum of RM 17,120.00 was allocated and the total cost, in- kind and cash, was RM 19,098.24.
