The Student Affairs Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Mahasiswa Curah Bakti Pulau Karimun, Indonesia from 24 to 30 April 2016 at Karimun Island, Indonesia. The programme which involved 31 UTHM students was held in response to MASKUM’s call to organise voluntary activities at the international level, especially in ASEAN countries. It also aimed to provide opportunities for the students to share their technical skills with rural communities. A sum of RM10,925.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM15,803.16
