The Assistant Vice Chancellor Office (Industrial & Community Relations) in collaboration with the Centre for Diploma Studies, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organized the ‘Cluster Schools Excellence Programme’ on 23 February 2016 at Seri Putih Primary School, Batu Pahat. The programme involved 80 UTHM students and staff, as well as 200 participants from the local community. The programme aimed to provide information to the school students on learning opportunities in UTHM, share experiences and knowledge about learning techniques, and enhance students’ motivation towards science and technology subjects. Activities such as lectures, motivational talks, educational tours and exhibitions were included in the programme. A sum of RM4,000.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost includes cash and in kind was RM8,298.40
