The Student Housing & Transportation Centre in collaboration with Tun Fatimah Residential College, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘Safari Kangkar Merlimau Community Service Programme’ from 29 to 31 October 2015 at Kg. Kangkar Merlimau, Parit Sulong. The programme involved 40 UTHM students and staff, as well as 60 members of the local community. The programme aimed at creating positive social networking with the community and providing valuable knowledge on the different processes of palm oil production. Gotong-royong at the old folks home was also carried out. UTHM provided transportation during the programme. A sum of RM2,330.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM 6,928.40
