The Student Affairs Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with IM4U organised the ‘Volunteer Malaysia Programme’ on 12 September 2015 at Taman Wira, Taman Melewar, Penghulu Mukim 8 Complex, Pintas Puding Mosque, Parit Raja Special Education Primary School, Senggarang Recreational Park, Kampung Kelicap Senggarang, Koris Senggarang Mosque, Kampung Parit Saidi Senggarang and Kampung Belahan Tampok Rengit. The programme involved 1500 UTHM students and volunteers, as well as 500 members of the local community. It aimed to raise awareness on volunteerism and strengthen university-community ties. Activities included Public Art Movement, Green Team, Beach and Underwater Clean Up, and War on Dengue. UTHM provided transportation for the programme. A sum of RM42, 000.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM113,200.00
