The University and Community Relations Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the Kluang District Office and Sembrong UMNO Education Committee organised the ‘Swim and Safe Course for Special Education Students’ on Sundays from September to November 2015 at UTHM Swimming Pool. The programme involved 4 swimming instructors and 30 special education students from Sri Gading Secondary School, Batu Pahat. It aimed to provide basic swimming skills and styles as well as various self-rescue techniques. A sum of RM995.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM1,434.84
