The University and Community Relations Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the Johor State Religious Council organised the ‘Food Aid Programme’ on 10 September 2015 at UTHM Sultan Ibrahim mosque. The programme involved 20 UTHM students and staff, as well as 220 underpriviledged students. It aimed to introduce the public to the supplemental food plan programme as well as provide financial aid to ease the burden of underpriviledged students. A sum of RM 31,000.00 was allocated for the programmme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM 31,849.60
