The Student Housing & Transportation Centre, along with Tun Fatimah Residential College and the Islamic Centre, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘Islamic Festival’ from 8 to 9 May 2015 at Tun Fatimah Residential College. This programme involved 40 UTHM students and staff, as well as 20 members of the local community. It was intended to instil moral values among undergraduates. It also aimed to expose the participants to funeral management, train them to become imam and bilal and perform prayers the right way. A sum of RM3,042.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash was RM 5,190.00
