Dec 30, 2017 – In conjunction with UTHM’s 25th anniversary, Sports and Recreation Bureau, UTHM Staff Club has organized a UTHM Treasure Hunt “Jelajah 3 Kampus” 2017. A total number of 52 participants comprising staff and family have joined the first time ever treasure hunt organised this year. Participants have explored routes to three campuses of UTHM Parit Raja, Pagoh, Tanjung Laboh involving two districts of Batu Pahat and Muar.Group of Norlailah Miswan, Jalilah Mohd Baijuri, Mirrah Nashihin Ishak and Dzuliana Fatin Jamil, claimed that the victory was a great fortune as they did not expect to win the competition and were just trying their luck.
“I am very grateful and actually it’s our first time joining this competition and I never expect that I will gain something profitable in return.Special thanks to organizer and the winnings would be used for children’s school expenses,” Norlailah said.
This treasure hunt is the first time event involving good cooperation between the University and the industry such as Genting Pura Kencana Property, BHP Petrol, Pau Mira and D’Impian Country Resort. This successful event is a collaboration between 10 administration and faculty staff clubs such as CESWEJ, MECHCLUB, FATEKMA, KEISSWA, KSFTK, KSCDeS, KASTURI, PUSTAKA, STiTCH and PAP-PRO CLUB.
