Celik Falak Programme

The Centre for General Studies and Co-Curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Celik Falak Programme on 11 November 2016 at Teluk Kemang Secondary School and Balai Cerap Batu Hilal, Teluk Kemang, Port Dickson. Negeri Sembilan. A total of 31 UTHM students as well as 50 school students and members of the local community were involved. The programme provided a platform for the application of astronomy theory. Activities such as ice breaking, a talk on the introduction to astronomy, small group discussions and qiblah finding were conducted. UTHM provided transportation, audio-visual and digital equipment for the programme. A sum of RM730.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM 6,426.88.
