The Assistant Vice-Chancellor Office (Industrial and Community Relations), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Kluang District Collaboration programme from 1 January to 31 December 2016 in Kluang, Johor. The programme involved 30 UTHM students and staff as well as 100 local community members. The objectives of the programme were to expose the community to homestay business and identify the potential products for commercialization. A sum of RM 1,000.00 was allocated for the programme, and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM21,906.40
