The Student Affairs Office, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in collaboration with the Student Council organized Sekilas Cinta Minashigo for the orphans on 14 December 2016 at Tun Fatimah Residential College. The programme involved 25 UTHM students and staff as well as 40 members of the local community. It was aimed at strengthening ties between UTHM students and the community. The programme also helped to provide love and care to the underprivileged through sports and cooking activities with the locals. UTHM provided transportation as well as sports and gotong-royong equipment. A sum of RM 2,394.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM2,956.00
