The Tarannum course students from the Centre for General Studies and Co-Curricular, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the Nur Qurani programme on 12 December 2016 at Padang Kawad, UTHM. The programme involved 31UTHM students. The objectives of the programme were to expose the students to the basic knowledge of tarannum and assess their ability to read the Quran using tarannum. Tilawah Al-Quran was conducted for students, muallaf and staff children. UTHM provided facilities like Padang Kawad andUTHM Sultan Ibrahim Mosque. A sum of RM310.00 was allocated and the total cost, in-kind and cash, was RM2,006.88
