The Assistant Vice Chancellor Office (Industrial & Community Relations), UniversitiTun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) organised the ‘National Autism Conference’ (PEKA 2016) from 1 to 3 April 2016 at UTHM Sultan Ibrahim Hall (DSI). The programme involved 10 UTHM students and staff as well as 173 local community members. The objective of the programme was to gather experts and academicians in the field of special education and autism in Malaysia. A sum of RM 55,000.00 was allocated for the programme and the total cost, in- kind and cash, was RM55,674.40.
